IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY. BY REGISTERING
FOR THE PROGRAM, SUBMITTING A FAMILY APPLICATION, OR PAYING ANY
SERVICE FEES TO DREAM NANNIES, YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE
TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

The purpose of this agreement is to set out our professional relationship and detail the
services we will provide to you. We, the undersigned (we, us, our, the Host Family), have
applied to become a Host Family with Dream Nannies Pty Ltd (ABN: [14607264513 ]
trading as DREAM NANNIES Au Pair (the Program).
We understand that this is a cultural exchange arrangement in which an Au Pair on a
Working Holiday Visa will live with our family for a minimum of 6 months, unless the
placement is terminated earlier in accordance with these Terms.
We accept these Terms and agree to be legally bound by them.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to create an employment relationship between DREAM
NANNIES and the Host Family, or between the Au Pair and DREAM NANNIES.

1. Program Inclusions
DREAM NANNIES will provide the Host Family with electronic profiles of screened Au Pair
candidates. The Host Family will independently select an Au Pair to assist with childcare and
related household duties for a maximum of 35 hours per week. Under the Program, the Host
Family will provide:
 A warm, safe, inclusive cultural exchange environment.
 A private, fully furnished comfortable room and all meals.
 Weekly pocket money as confirmed in the Au Pair invitation.
 A completion travel bonus payment after six months.
 A minimum of two free days per week (with at least every other weekend free) and
public holidays free.
 Transport considerations, including access to a family car if public transport is limited
and transport to/from the arrival airport.

2. Program Fees & Refund Policy
 Registration Fee: Due upon application and is non-refundable.
 Placement Fee: Invoiced upon confirmation of placement and due 5 days from the
date of invoice.
 Non-Refundable Status: The Placement Fee is non-refundable once an Au Pair has
been confirmed and has arrived with the Host Family. DREAM NANNIES does not
provide refunds for "change of mind," changes in family circumstances, or if the Au
Pair leaves the placement voluntarily.

 Consumer Law Compliance: These terms do not exclude any statutory consumer
guarantees under Australian Consumer Law that cannot be lawfully excluded.
 Non-Solicitation & Direct Connections: If DREAM NANNIES introduces a
Candidate and the Host Family subsequently connects with that Candidate directly
via online or social media channels to bypass the Agency, the full Placement Fee
remains immediately payable should the Au Pair join the family.

3. Termination & Au Pair Departure
 a) Mutual Notice Period: In the event that either the Host Family or the Au Pair
wishes to terminate the placement, a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice must be
provided by the initiating party to the other.
 b) Au Pair Resignation: If an Au Pair decides to leave the placement, they are
required to provide the Host Family with 14 days' notice.
 c) Accommodation During Notice: The Host Family is responsible for
accommodating the Au Pair for the duration of the 14-day notice period following the
notice of termination.
 d) Alternative Accommodation: If the Host Family terminates the placement and
does not wish to house the Au Pair during the notice period, the Host Family must
pay for 14 days of dormitory-style accommodation at a youth hostel or other
appropriate accommodation. Failure to do so results in a forfeiture of replacement
rights.
 e) Gross Misconduct: Notwithstanding the above, where a Host Family terminates
due to an Au Pair’s negligence or gross misconduct, the Host Family is entitled to
immediate termination and removal of the Au Pair without the requirement for notice
or accommodation costs.

4. Replacement Guarantee
If the placement ends within the first 30 days (whether the Family terminates with cause or
the Au Pair decides to leave), DREAM NANNIES will provide one free replacement search,
provided:
1. All fees were paid in full and on time.
2. The Host Family has not breached the Program Terms (e.g., exceeding 35 hours per
week).
3. The Host Family provided the required notice and accommodation to the departing
Au Pair.
4. The request for a replacement is made in writing within 7 days of the termination
notice.
5. Replacements are subject to seasonal availability. If a suitable replacement cannot
be found within a reasonable timeframe, a credit may be held for a future placement
at the Agency's discretion, but no cash refund will be issued.
5. Driving, Damages & Insurance
 The Host Family must assess the Au Pair's driving ability and provide comprehensive
car insurance naming the Au Pair as a driver.
 Liability Cap (Vehicle): If the Au Pair is at fault in an accident, their financial
responsibility is capped at the lesser of $1,000 or the insurance excess.
 Other Damages: Financial responsibility for damages caused by the Au Pair’s
negligence or misuse is capped at $1,000.
6. Child Protection & General

 Zero Tolerance: DREAM NANNIES has zero tolerance for physical force (smacking)
toward children; breaches result in immediate removal from the Program without
refund or replacement.
 Privacy: Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available
on our website, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal
information.
 Variation: DREAM NANNIES reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time.
Modifications are effective immediately upon being posted on our website.
 Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland.
 Release of Claims: The Host Family releases DREAM NANNIES from claims
regarding intentional or negligent acts by the Au Pair, as final selection is the
responsibility of the Host Family.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT: By submitting your application or paying any fees to
DREAM NANNIES, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to
be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
